Job Description:

The History, Philosophy & Social Sciences department at SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach a section of Macroeconomics from 1 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule at the main campus.

Requirements:

A Master's degree in Economics or an undergraduate degree in Economics with a Master's degree in a closely related field is required.  Previous community college teaching experience is preferred.

On-campus teaching assignments require availability during the day on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday and/or Tuesday/Thursday schedule.  Online teaching assignments require previous teaching experience, the ability/willingness to develop an online course according to the SUNY Online Course Quality Review Rubric (OSCQR) and the successful completion of training on the college's learning management system (Brightspace).
